For foreigners it is often very hard to find information on Eastern European metal festivals, so I decided to create a thread where people can post the information they get.
The reason for doing this is because we're planning a road trip through Eastern Europe next summer and we would like to attend atleast one festival as well, can be anything from black metal over grindcore to crust punk, small or big, as long as it's not straight edge. But information about these festivals is often very hard to get. For example, I don't even know if Open hell fest still exists.
So, it's still very early for festival information, but maybe some of you Polish/Czech/Hungary people can recommend us something already? |

In Estonia we have Hard Rock Laager (Hard Rock Camp) near a nice small town in countryside. Usually it takes place in late June / early July (we have nice white nights then), on the same weekend that TUSKA festival in Finland.
So far there have been bands like Tiamat, Satyricon, Katatonia, Enslaved, Cathedral to name a few + local Baltic bands.

Another rock festival is Rabarock that takes palce in mid June and so far there has been bands like The Misfits, Kreator, The Exploited + more. |

| Not exactly eastern Europe but Metal Camp in Tolmin (Slovenia) is a pretty big thing. |
