I hope there will be a german/EU distro holding this. I am not at all willing to pay 35$ on shipping.
Really looking forward to this, though! The artwork looks great, too!

NED has pre-orders too if there is a feel of panic.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I still have some copies of the spliit CD with Mordaehoth (for discounted price atm). The CD contains the original Der Blutharsch tracks too so it's lengthy.

Hmm, judging by NOEVDIA web site, 2xCD has 3 more minutes of music, 117min vs 114 on 3xLP.

It seems a typo, Ajna website says 114 minutes both.

Not a typo. Same song, 2 different versions, both awesome if you ask me.
The entire album is titanic in its scope and embraces a lifetime devoted to Black Metal. I don't think I've ever been so captivated by such a looooong album.

In anticipation of "Intra Naos" I have spinned "From Dead Temples" three times during these disgusting April nights. Am I the only one who thinks that "From Dead Temples" is not aging elegantly? Sure, the interviews with the band, especially in The Sinister Flame, show unparalleled depth and life-time devotion but, as we know, actions speak louder than words. To these ears "From Dead Temples" more often than not sounds kitsch rather than truly other-worldly...

Thing is, "From Dead Temples" is an album rooted exclusively in the second wave Black Metal sound, and therefore, it is very much influenced by Darkthrone. Perhaps that's the reason as to why the album for some people may not have aged "elegantly". That particular sound has been exploited and overused with the years and perhaps that is the reason.
Personally, I do still find the album to be unique, having in mind the context of the time when it was released.

As I explained in the previous page aop is by no means a darkthrone inspired band. And from dead temples is in the same league of a blaze, dmds, itne;timeless masterpiece and easily in the top ten of the most evil albums ever made.

"Once in an interview seth/calus affirmed that if thare are any similarities between his band an darkthrone/early norwegian black metal is just because they shared the same 80s influences.". And that's precisely as to why you can find similarities between From Dead Temples and the second wave of Norwegian Black Metal. And this doesn't imply that they play second rate BM, because clearly it is not.

Psicoterror - I agree with your arguments and I share your sentiments. "From Dead Temples" is solid record deeply rooted in early Norwegian classics. That said, let me note that ALTAR OF PERVERSION are often heralded as true visionaries of the new millenium Black Metal. Listening to "From Dead Temples" I do not sense this unique vision. As I wrote above, some tracks border on kitsch and the entire record is spreading itself too thin for its own good. At the same time, I remain hopeful that "Intra Naos" will provide a glimpse into truly new horizons.
