I kind of wondered the same. He seems to dominate this thread and he literally buys everything.

Making that kind of money usually implies working some long hours, so what makes me wonder even more is when he finds time to listen to all that stuff, and by that I mean to listen to it only once, let alone to revisit all those current albums on regular basis, and let alone even more so to regularly listen to classic metal albums. Add a kid or two on top of having a regular job, and all you can do is admiring those sleeves and front covers...

It's all about prioritising really.
I pay my bills, and the rest I use for what I want.

Got some cool stuff from my friends label, doubt it'd be pf any interest to folk on here.

Lapse - S/T (really washed out shoegaze stuff)
Stockades - Open (reminds me of early 90s screamo stuff)

also forgot a friend of mine had my copy of the Innumerable Forms/Blessed Offal split for like 2 years so I'm counting that as a score again too

Yep. Agreed and agreed and yea... spot on really. I would add this is the reason why many want 'digital' copies available, the vinyl bought is certainly mostly just sitting on a shelf preserved in ones 'collection' for the sake of owning and collecting ...as all those work hours in a office or truck hardly has the luxury of a record player at hand to use. Personally sure, I can listen to music all day at work, just never in any format I actually buy ...I have to convert everything to mp3 and then transfer to a little storage/play device and that's that... whats the point anymore really buying heavy shit that one day I will hardly ever want to consider moving, cause fucking records in volume are no joy to move. That's the questions I ask myself lately, why am I buying more when there is no time to actually use any of it?

Not even taking the cost into consideration how the hell does one find the time to actually enjoy/appreciate all of that music?
Not judging, to each their own.

I was excited to snag a copy of Ulcerate's "Destroyers of All" for a reasonable price.
