Yea, but that is more aimed for Crust influenced by Black Metal. So basically I just want "Raw" Black Metal with this one, and the "punk" comparison was really all I could come up with at the time for Akitsa and the like. Scratch that and just gimme Raw BM.

Of course, I have most of his stuff. The stuff I don't have is because I don't like it (which is becoming more & more).

For the experimental, and noise stuff I'm thinking more along the lines of Wold, Vegas Martyrs, Ante Cryst, Gnaw Their Tongue, Enbilulugugal, etc.

I think ancestors is the guy from Das Oath and the owner of Youth Attack.
the second part is just a guess though..

Ancestors is amazingly well done, wish there was more than the demo. Spektr, and Asgeirr are also really good.

Your band is fucking great. How can I get a copy of the demo?

And the Ancestors news is good, too. Does it have a title or is it S/T like the other? *edit* Nevermind, I see it is just titled "II".

hey thanks. we are playing our first show this Saturday and that will be the release for our demo tape. It will be a small run for the show and then another 100 on pro-tapes on Occult Contemporary very soon. I'll post when it's available or just keep an eye on

occultcontemporary.com

thanks again.

thought i'd bump this to mention a russian band i came across recently that seem like they would be up your alley:

METI BHUVAH:

also second the recommendation by the other person who posted about STELLA POLARIS, great band!

I am mainly looking for stuff in the vein of Akitsa, Malveillance, Volahn, and Ash Pool. Raw Black Metal with Punk influences, some noise salted through-out but not overly used, you know the drill. I have heard Bone Awl and have a few of their releases so please don't suggest them.

I also like the folk inspired Raw Black Metal bands such as Forteresse, Marblebog, Heretic Blood, Uno Actu, Draugurz, Gris, Hate Forest, Drudkh, Horn, etc, etc. Anything in this vein would be appreciated.

Lastly some more "atmospheric", and occasionally experimental stuff like Urfaust, and Menace Ruine.

Not sure if somebody already mentioned WYRD, GEIST, SAPTHURAN, LANTLOS, KLABAUTAMAN (not sure If I wrote it well Laughing ), 1st EMPYRIUM, HILLS OF SEFIROTH ??, SKOLL...
