Don't need any new Aosoth, certainly not gonna pre-order anything. Will listen to YT once album is out and then might buy it. III is their best for me (version with no vocals is great too), that new track sounds like I heard it before. So it's pass for now.

An Arrow in Heart was a beast, definitely on board for this.

Sample track sounds deadly. Definitely a continuation of IV. Not going to preorder it two months from release though. Preorders are annoying as hell.

"The drums for "V: The Inside Scriptures" were recorded by T. at Hybreed Studios"

Session drummer? A first for Aosoth if i'm not mistaken.

How is the track from the Ritual Death split? My copy arrived yesterday but it will be a while before I get to play it.

It's a great track. Both sides are actually.

I could've sworn that Blastum did the drums on IV, but he isn't credited on the MA page. Strange.

He did the drums on VI's 2015 album. Maybe you mixed them up.

I always thought IV had programmed drums and i think i read it somewhere long ago.

Riffing sounds closer to VI than Aosoth (yes, VI, not IV), to my ears at least. Am I mistaken? Gotta dust off III/IV and compare.

Not really hearing any VI riffing on the sample track. BST and INRVI both have pretty distinct riffing IMO; this sounds like Aosoth to me! However, I only got to listen to a bit before my boss walked in. Sounds great so far. Twisted Evil

Sounds deadly. Can't hear much VI ( the band) influence either really. This is much uglier, less flowing, more death-metally.

Artwork looks good to me.

Also fan of the potential for confusion with the roman numerals.

VI has real drums? I hardly doubt it, those drums sound more programmed than Aosoth.

The new albums artwork is stellar looking. The last album was pretty good. I will definitely pick this up when released.

Album credits for De Praestigiis Angelorum list it as Blastum.

the track, and art, are awesome. the thing with Aosoth, like Antaeus, is they never really make "filler" tracks for their albums. Theyre so consistent. I can imagine the rest of this album being similar, and worthy

Can't wait - this track sounds great and mixes a lot of what I loved about IV into a more concise song.
