I held the "deluxe" version in my hands and I really don't want to know what the smple version is like. I wouldn't say that it's worth a big amount of extra cash, since even the so called "Deluxe" version sucks in my opinion. The 3-LP version is cool though.

The local record store here is selling the tLP for $99.99. Shocked

Ouch. I've seen online stores still selling this for maybe 40-50 or so. Otherwise, the general price now is like $65USD.

The regular digipak is pretty worthless, but the digibook version is really cool, has lots of pictures and just looks great in general. I'd say it's definitely worth the extra cash.

Thanks guys. It will be a birthday present and since the person does not have a turntable, I'll have to choose between the CD versions. I think I've made my mind though - deluxe it is.

And one more thing - I don't buy bootlegs. Ever.

I'm confused. You have a crack in the jewel case for the CD and are afraid to remove the booklet?

It's only going to go up from there... ebay madness will take this one eventually I think.

Yes, I want to replace the cracked jewel case with a new one, but can't figure out how to remove the whole booklet without damaging it. There are some little parts and the backside too that are underneath the glass. I have to somehow dismantle the whole thing. So has anybody done that?

If it is a regular jewel case, then yeah, you just pop the disc tray out and remove the traycard. I do it everyday. Unless you have crazy retard strength and rip the whole thing in half, you should not have a problem.

Try taking apart another CD case you do not care about to see how it works.
