That happened to me with a ROOT - Kärgeräs tape... I don't know if it's a bootleg or not, but it's missing half of the music!

Yeah, when I bought the Goatsodomy demotape it was blank. But then I got a new copy that was fine.

Back in the day I bought the original "Tuatha Na Gael" CD by Cruachan on Nazgul's Eyrie Productions after reading great stuff about this band.
Everything looked fine but all I got on first listen was a CD full of some kind of Rap/Dance/Hiphop garbage.

I've never experienced problems like that so far, but it happened twice lately. That sucks!

Maybe it's a Word document?

I bet a lot of VENOM fans just kept quit about the misprint, so they can secretly listen to Madonna without getting caught. It made them feel shiny and new. It would of been ultra cult if it was "Like a Surgeon" by Weird Al instead.

Anyway, who needs music these days anyway? Most people buy records and tapes to put on a shelf these days.

I'd like to release an album with no music on it, just to see how many wimps and nerds these days actually listen to them, rather than handling them with rubber gloves and snapping pics of them to show off. Whining about a little dog ear in the corner of a jacket.....

Actually, there was a band that released a single with absolutely no CD in it as a joke. I stumbled upon this on RateYourMusic.com but I cannot remember who it was. It may have been one of the Anal Cunt side-projects, I think.

That rapist heavy breathing in the Venom mispress video is what makes it.

Some Time Before Time cassette I bought years back had no music on it. Might have been Sabbat?

Back in the mid-90's I ordered an Amorphis "Tales From the Thousand Lakes" CD from Relapse Records mail order. When it arrived, I opened it up, and put it in my cd player. Everything looked fine and was printed correctly (Even the cd itself). However, the music on it was from an unidentified SKA band, complete with goofy trumpets. Totally bizarre. I sent it back and then sent me another one which was fine. I Wonder if that was a one-off mistake at the pressing plant or if many were like that.

I once traded with a former Shining member a CD, and when it arrived I wanted to open the CD-case and put the CD in the player, but the tray was empty..... Sad

(ok, the guy made a CDR before sending and forgot to put the original CD out of his CD-drive back into the tray...)
