Well, I would like to know if the "Die Healing" album has been released on vinyl, or just CD.
What are your opinions like about that band? Are they a christian band? To be honest, I've never cared too much about that band in the past, but I am fukkin' fascinated by that above mentioned album _________________

Die Healing is indeed a great album--not sure if it ever came out on wax, i have the cd only. Many doom heads prefer Reagers over Wino. Not sure either on the religious aspects. |

I have no idea whether they're christian or not, and neither do I care. I fucking worship the Reagers albums. The Wino ones are okay, and C.O.D. with Christian Lindersson is fucking awesome. I love this band. |

Actually, Die Healing was released as a bootleg LP. Don't know who released it, I thought Japanese or Korean label. |

Saint Vitus is like real life horror music... one of my favorite bands ever, hands down. The S/T and Hallow's Victim are the best material they released in my opinion, but all other albums and EP's are killer as well.
By did way, did you guys see the new DVD? It's really fucking good! |

Die Healing is a killer release. It has my favourite S.V. track, "Dark World". Do check out their self-titled, too. |

NOW we're talking!! SAINT VITUS are/were one of THEE best bands ever to grace this rotten planet, be it with Scott Reagers or Wino (not counting that ill-fated COD album...)! Although I really like EVERY fucking album -except the one mentioned before- my favourites have to be indeed "Die Healling", "V" and the self-titled debut album. The latter is probably the heaviest, concerning the guitar sound and the overall production. IMMENSELY heavy! "Die Healing" has Scott Reagers in top form, going mental all the way! "V" has some of the very best songs Dave Chandler ever penned and -at least in my humble opinion- Wino's best singing ever, namely trax like "I Bleed Black", "Jack Frost" and THEE Klassick "Patra (Petra)"!! Saw them 2003 at "With Full Force" when they did one of 2 reunion gigs (the other one was in Chicago a couple of days prior to that one) and I was TOTALLY freaking out! I sincerely hope, that there's no evidence being recorded... When it comes to the "Christian" thing I agree, that they're actually not a Christian band in the vein of STRYPER etc. but having some lyrics that lean towards such topics (like e. g. "After Forever"). Although from what I've heard Scott Reagers was actually getting deeper into the whole "Jesus" bullshit, which prevented him to sing some of the earlier material, when they reunited in the 90s... On the other hand TROUBLE had some far more "provoking" lyrics on their first 2 albums in comparison, while still being an UTTERLY Killer band!!! _________________ "Slit my eyes, for they'll remember..." |
